Sandvox Sites

Our website is designed to serve the needs of people who need specialty batteries and portable lighting. This includes people in law enforcement looking for government spec flashlights. We currently offer four lines of portable lighting which are: New Frontier LED lights, Heritage Lites, Tuffy Industrial, and Minuteman.

This website is for anyone who needs lighting for home or work. It could also be someone who enjoys collecting lights and batteries as a hobby.

Our products are made in the USA. Burgess also has a long history of supplying people and being a part of the community. We enjoy making friends with people. This is why we have a group on both Yahoo and Facebook.

There is proof Sandvox works. We already generated interest from Evergreen Supply Company on purchasing twenty thousand batteries for Chicago Transit Authority. The purchaser talked to dave and said, "Where have you guys been? I have been looking for months!"

We have heard from people whose relatives worked in the Burgess factory here in Freeport and were looking to share stories on Facebook.

They are all terrific designs so it was tough to pick just one.

Burgess logos are "red and black." We used the "Industrial" design at first but then felt the "Old Ink" and the lightning complemented the batteries and lighting products. Diane scanned some Burgess products and incorporated them into the header.

We wanted to try and keep the sidebar the same for most pages. Therefore, we used the photo pagelets and the external page pagelets. The site is still a work in progress because we will be offering more in the near future.
