The website is centered around poems that I have written, "The Crushing Weight of Good Bye," and poems of others that I love including, "Bob" by Charles Bukowski. The site also contains quotations I have collected over the years that have influenced my thinking and my life.

Lovers of Word. Poets. Philosophers.
Tell us a story about this website.
The titles for the websites I write, "Wise Poet" and "The Quintessential Male" were given to me in two short and intense meetings with two beautiful and wise women.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I use the "Distinction Design" for both of the sites I write. It is a very direct design with a white background and orange highlights that allow the words to standout. It also makes it easy for me to change banners.

What techniques did you use to build this website?
The only insight I offer is to play around with the different designs and tools we have available. I was thrilled to be able to incorporate readings of my poems using the mac voice and Quick Time Pagelet. The interpretations surprised me.
