Sandvox Sites

We designed the website to support our business, and as we don't have a physical shop, we want our website to act as a window to feature ATADesigns products.

We design and sell wallpapers, murals, fabrics etc. for the high-end interior industry, so our branding is very important to us. We wanted to work with a website software that's simple and easy to use, and of good quality to display our products. We feel that we have achieved this, working with Sandvox. Here are a couple of examples: We have a lot of designs that are part of our own collection, so being able to organise them into Sandvox Collections Photo Album, makes it easier for people to see our collections and not get confused. Working with pagelets is great, and especially if you want to feature more than one image on a page, we have used this a lot in our website. We also like the fact that Sandvox supports Macs.

I must admit I'd never heard about Sandvox or Karelia before. I'd first heard about the software through reading one of the Mac magazines, unfortunately, I don't remember which one, I read so many. Maybe it was Mac magazine?

Although we were quite happy with the website we had before changing to Sandvox, ATADesigns is a growing business, and we wanted to find another software that could offer more tools that would allow us to expand on what we do. We also wanted to design a website with a fresh look and new approach. Having researched, through reading other people’s comments on the Sandvox website, reading reviews on other websites, Sandvox appealed to us more and more. So we downloaded a trial version to test and get a general feel of the product. We found that Sandvox offered just what we needed. We bought Sandvox Pro, and did a little bit of HTML to set up our Mailing list, which we are very proud of doing, as we are not website designers.

We have only really just started using Sandvox properly, and I'm sure that there are a lot more things for us to discover. We love the layout, and how easy it is for you to upload pages to build a website. There is variety of templates to choose from, and you can adapt them to your own style. Or, if you are more advanced in website design, you have the choice of using HTML of which you can also hire a website designer to design for you. We have included a books section where we have added an Amazon list of books featuring our designs. Our Collections section is split up into our design collections using collections to support this area. On our links page, we are able to add logos, and this is something that we couldn't do with our other website. Our press and events pages are laid out neatly, and finally, we bought the training course disc that is very helpful, especially seeing examples of what you need to do.
