What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I wanted to build a professional site that would promote our Elevator Business, while making it easy to inform our clients of our product line and services. After exploring the Sandvox program, and learning the basics, I began, what I call my 13 hour adventure. After composing text content and gathering pictures- the site building process was easy, and the end result is exactly what I had hoped to create.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
I read reviews by "Macworld" and decided to purchase Sandvox.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I chose to purchase Sandvox because other users raved about how easy it was to use. I also found that being able to go to actual sites that had been created with Sandvox extremely helpful in my decision making process.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
I don't consider myself to be tech savvy. The idea of creating a webpage was not something that I thought that I was capable of doing. I was prepared to hire a professional web designer, until I found out how much they charged! I thought that in order to design my own site, I would have to take a class on HTML and web design. I checked out a stack of books from the library, which only caused confusion. With no where else to turn- I searched on Google for "web design software for Mac", and there you were! I am so thankful for all of the software designers at Karelia. I love the fact that everyone that created Sandvox, made it so easy for novices. My neighbor, who has a PH.D in computer science, couldn't believe that I constructed the site, (with some help from the geniuses at Sandvox) all by myself! After a short time of practicing with creating a "dummy" site, I was confident enough to design a real life site on the web! (Okay- now your heads are swelling, I'll stop). THANKS AGAIN!
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
“It is helpful to maintain a professional website to not only to draw potential clients, but also to impress our vendors. During the dealership interview process, one of our manufactures checked out our website, and couldn't wait to sell to us, just so then they could be listed as a vendor with a...”
